Hebrews 10:19-25

God wants you to live connected to him and connected to others. That is why Jesus came. This week we are going to take a look at what Hebrews has to tell us about community. 

1. What stood out to you this week in Pastor James’ message

2. Pastor James said, “Encourage means to exhort, urge strongly, call attention to, come alongside of to help, speak faith that God’s got this.” How important is it to you to have someone in your life who can encourage you? Who are you encouraging these days?

3. Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-10. What is this passage saying? How would you explain it to a young person?

4. Read Hebrews 10:19-21. Verse 19 emphasizes having confidence to enter the holy places. How can your group help you increase your confidence and faith in your relationship with God?

5. Read Hebrews 10:24-25. Verse 24 mentions "stirring up one another to love and good works." Can you share a specific experience where someone in your group inspired you to take positive action?

6. Considering the importance of mutual encouragement, what practical steps can we take to ensure everyone feels valued and supported within the group, especially during moments of vulnerability?

7. Read Hebrews 3:12-13. Also read John 10:10. How can encouragement from others help us resist temptation, protect us from the enemy, and help us to walk in the fullness of life that God wants for us?

8. The greatest danger is to believe that God cannot be trusted. How does your group help you trust God in all areas of your life?
