Easter - Serve Day

If you’re in a Life Group that means you’ve been connected to both Christ and Community. Did you know that part of our Calling as believers is to help meet needs in the cities where we live, work, and play? (See Matthew 25:35-40). On May 6th, we as a Church will do just that! Over the next two weeks, please follow along with the curriculum found at journeyconnect.org/serveday to Discover and Plan Your Serve. You will find all the tools you need to build a serve that your group is passionate about. We can’t wait to see what serves you submit!

1. Complete the 2 weeks of the Serve Your City curriculum beginning the week immediately following Easter. 

Session 1 (Video 1 Parts a and b) is scheduled for the week of April 10th-16th. 

Session 2 (Video 2) is scheduled for the week of April 17th-23rd.

2. One person in the LG will submit the group’s “Serve plan” for approval at www.journeyconnect.org/serveday

3. WE WANT STORIES!!! Submit all photos and stories from the event at www.journeyconnect.org/serveday (this can be anyone in the group, it doesn’t have to be the life group leaders). We’re encouraging lots of stories and photos because there are a limited number of photographers available.
